Bobbi Lonobile - Mentor
A Rochester native and graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Bobbi's 20+ year public relations and marketing communications career has included work at the American Red Cross, freelance work with the Park Avenue Festival, and Director of Communication posts at the Seneca Park Zoo Society and VisitRochester, VP for PR and marketing at Lifetime Health (a division of Excellus BlueCross BlueShield), and most recently as Communications Director for the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester. She is currently working as an independent practitioner. Her community volunteer work includes many years as a soccer team parent at the high school and college levels, PRSA (Public Relations Society) board member and former PRism committee co-chair, SUNY Geneseo career partner, PRSA young professional mentor and current PRism committee member. She is currently serving as a volunteer for the Rochester Eye and Tissue Bank and VisitRochester. Bobbi has received many awards for her work including several PRism Awards given by the Rochester PRSA chapter. Her work has also been recognized nationally by the American Red Cross and with a Bronze Anvil award for media relations given by the National PRSA.
