5 Reasons to Explore the PRSA Group Member Program
Have you heard about PRSA’s Group Member Program? PRSA now offers a group membership for organizations with five or more interested applicants that carries many new benefits above and beyond individual memberships. Our PR team at Roberts Communications recently explored the group membership first hand and of course as any PR pros would do, we started with some research! What we found filled up the “pros” column and left the “cons” column virtually empty. Here are five highlights from our experience to consider:
- Convenience. Streamlined, easy annual renewal once a year for the entire group. Have a July renewal date? No worries, it’s prorated for the first year.
- Cost certainty. One flat annual fee for each membership regardless of individual experience level.
- Flexibility. Memberships stay with the organization, not the individual, and are fully transferable.
- Relevant. Access to one professional interest section with fee waived for the first year.
- Incentives. Discounts on postings in the Jobcenter and to attend PRSA conferences.
In addition, group membership has access to all of the other benefits that come with an individual PRSA membership. Instant access to more than 70 webinars on demand, a subscription to PRSA daily Issues and Trends, monthly Tactics, quarterly Strategist publications, and so much more. Our Rochester chapter is active with a mix of relevant programming to support all levels of career growth. When you add it all up, the benefits for PRSA membership are an excellent value.
